When I bought this skirt after seeing it on Sarah’s Real Life, I honestly didn’t know how much I would end up loving it. I’ve worn it at least once a month since I’ve gotten it. It helps, of course, that most of my other skirts are too big and this one isn’t. But even if that wasn’t the case, I’d probably still wear it more than the others.
Funny story – I honestly didn’t even notice that this necklace had pink in it until after I’d been wearing it for a few hours. Oops! Well, uh, let’s just say that it’s “light red” and I’m going for a monochrome theme. And the stripes on my shirt are navy. I promise.
Anyway, I tend to wear this skirt with neutral colors, specifically grays and blacks, so I wanted to take it up a notch and pair it with blues. Hence the bright blue shoes. I’m honestly not sure how I feel about it and I almost changed my mind 10 times, but in the end, I went with it.
And I think it encouraged me to pair this skirt with my cobalt blue top next. Because, I mean, just looking at the photos tells me that a little color wouldn’t hurt anyone. What do you think?
