Sweater and Sandals

Casual Friday · Fluoxetine and abilify

Welcome to Chicago in spring. When you can wear a sweater, jeans and sandals at the same time and be perfectly dressed. For like one day.

Sweater – Le Tote (same) | Necklace – Le Tote (same) | Jeans – LOFT (same) | Sandals – Madden Girl (similar) | Watch – Nixon c/o Shopbop (similar)

Bri at Work Clothes, I Suppose chose “warm weather white” as this month’s Third Thursday Threads theme and I kind of laughed. We’re still waiting for consistently warm weather in Chicago so you’re getting an outfit that I’ve also worn with my cheetah print wedge booties! So, you see, this outfit is super versatile and be worn all year round. Well, okay, maybe not when it’s actually warm outside but you get my point.

Also, I have to say, this necklace drove me nuts. It kept flipping around and ending up backwards. Does this drive anyone else nuts?

Also also, I fully admit I wore this outfit to meet Jason and Chewie at the dog park and my jeans stayed relatively clean, even though Chewie makes it his personal mission to jump on me like a crazed animal when I walk through the dog park gates. But, I promise I didn’t Photoshop out any paw prints!

Holy smokes am I in love with this outfit. I’m already declaring this my favorite one for May. I was actually going to comment that I really like your necklace in particular, but I totally feel you on the wearability issues. I have a layered necklace (I don’t know if that’s what it’s actually called – one of those necklaces with multiple strands at different lengths) that I really love, but it ALWAYS gets tangled up, no matter what I’m doing. I don’t understand how it gets so twisted around itself when it’s just sitting there, doing nothing on my neck, but it definitely does, and it bugs me so much that I barely ever wear it!

Ooh I love love love this look! Pinning away so I can recreate. Perfect for the “it’s not quite hot enough yet but I so want it to be because it’s May in Chicago” look 🙂

I continue to appreciate how when I see items on LeTote, they don’t draw my attention – but when you wear them, they look great! I feel your pain on the necklaces that always flip over backwards, too. It’s nice to be able to send those right back with LeTote. =) Kudos to you for having the courage to wear white pants to the dog park with Chewie! I think white is my favorite neutral color. It really makes other colors pop!

Admittedly, this sweater doesn’t look anything like the model photo when it’s on. Unless the model is wearing an XXXL! Still, I liked this one so much that I bought it.

White pants to a dog park!?!?!?! You are BRAVE! It’s never Niko I’m worried about – it is all of the other dogs 🙂 And yah, warm weather white has been a joke this week, but last week was totally realistic. Ugh spring :/ Thanks for linking up, as always 🙂

I don’t sit down much when I’m at the park so I think that keeps the dogs from climbing and jumping on me. Either that or we live in a neighborhood of really well behaved pups!
