May was another one of those months when I ordered a ton of things but ended up keeping very little.
- The Limited Pants – $45
- J. Crew Shirt – $30
- Loeffler Randall Vivi Ballet Flats c/o Shopbop
- The Limited Denim Shorts (not pictured) – $36
- JORD Watch (seen here and here) – c/o
I’d been wanting a gray striped tee since I saw Jen from Librarian for Life and Style wear hers several different ways. This one was on sale from J. Crew and I decided not to pass it up.
The unpictured denim shorts were a much-needed addition to my closet since all of my other shorts are too big. I won’t be wearing them to work but they were a staple in last year’s summer casual wardrobe.
The pants were because I fell in love with a similar pair from Old Navy that, sadly, didn’t fit me. After ordering these from The Limited in three different sizes I finally found ones that worked!
The shoes, though? I’ve been wanting some colored ballet flats and these blue ones have been calling my name from Shopbop for months and months. I finally bit the bullet and spent my Shopbop credit (plus $4) on them and I’m happy to say they fit perfectly the first time. How often does that happen?
As I mentioned yesterday, I’m thinking about going on a spending freeze for the summer and only mixing it up with items from Le Tote. As an ambassador I’ll get purchase credit with them so if I really fall in love with something I can buy it that way.
Since I’m training for my first triathlon I’ve been spending my money on things like swim lessons and a wet suit. There are a few other things I’d like to buy, too, so I think I’ll need to use my money on those! What do you think? Should I do a triathlon fashion post?
I’m kidding. Kind of.
