For today’s installment of Pinterest Parallels I’m once again going with a pin that I saved that has been repinned over 430 times!

It’s a simple outfit from Sprinkles & Sequins that I think must intrigue people because the basic elements are easy to recreate.

Navy sweater, jeans, leopard accessories and a gold necklace? I bet lots of people have similar items in their closet. I mean, clearly I do.

I think, though, that what really gets people is the necklace she’s wearing in the original photo. It’s currently on sale and I admit I’m intrigued. However, I wonder how heavy it is and if it’s too Mr. T. I mean, it IS a lot of chains.

Anyway, I went with a necklace I already own that’s a bit more toned down. The idea was to wear this outfit to dinner at bowling at the new Pinstripes, but when Jason and I got there for our date night I was informed that they had no lanes available until 9PM. Their website says nothing about lane reservations being recommended (or even an option!) and no one mentioned it when I was there for the previous event.

Thankfully their food is good so we decided to stay and eat dinner. Still, it would have been nice to try some bowling or bocce. Ah, well. Maybe another time. Now that I know I need to reserve a lane first!

Hey! I could almost wear this! I don’t own any leopard, which is the one thing standing in my way from copying it exactly, but I *do* have a navy sweater, jeans (duh), and a gold necklace that’s actually a bit similar to yours. It looks like it’s still going to be a bit cool next week, so maybe then!

I could totally copy this look! I don’t have a navy sweater but you could certainly swap out the navy with another shade of blue or even another color. I do love the navy paired with the animal print and the gold, though. Very elegant!
