All The New Things

Viagra and clonidine

Tomorrow I’m posting my October shopping summary but it’s basically summed up in this post: scarf, sweater, boots.

This may be my new favorite fall outfit. I mean, it just screams fall, doesn’t it? And even if it’s not something you could wear to your office it’s also perfect for fall weekends.

And fall is definitely here. Tuesday night I went to a Flywheel class at Chicago’s newest location in Old Town (psst – giveaway coming soon) and rode a Divvy bike there. Yes, I know, I rode a bike to a spin class. Anyway, the wind was CRAZY. I was originally planning to ride a Divvy bike home but I ended up with so much swag (and trashed legs) that there was no way I could have fit it all on a bike. Thankfully Jill gave me a ride home.

Then I rode a Divvy bike home from work today and forgot gloves. My hands were so cold they were burning by the time I got home. Clearly I need to get better at remembering my cold weather gear because it looks like the chill is here to stay.

At least that means I can wear this outfit more often!

That outfit is ADORABLE!!! Looks so cozy.
Ken is noticing that he, too, must remember his gloves when he runs.

Well, everyone else has already said this, but my first thought upon seeing that outfit was, “It looks so cozy!” Haha.

I had to break out the pea coat today. I was hoping to hold off until November, but my North Face just did NOT cut it yesterday. So I sucked it up and put on lots of layers and my pea coat, and I actually felt comfortable on my commute! What a concept! Haha 😛

I’ve been able to avoid the wool coat by wearing my faux leather one which I think is actually warmer. I still don’t like having to remember my coat no matter which one it is!

You look like an L.L. Bean cover girl! I love the classic combo of jeans, boots, a white sweater, and a colorful scarf. What kind of jacket/coat did you pair with it?

On that note, if you’re looking for blog topic suggestions, I’d love to read some posts on outdoor apparel now that the weather is getting colder!

Good idea about a post about coats! I’ll see if I can get one of those up before we all have to wear our puffer coats. With this outfit I wore my red trench coat. It’s lined a bit heavier than a regular trench so it was the perfect topper piece.
