In a fit of feeling uninspired, I decided to look through the blog archives to what I was wearing last September. I landed on this outfit and decided that I was just going to recreate it but add my leopard print flats instead of heels.
And then I started getting dressed and the outfit kind of took on a mind of its own.
The cardigan and jeans are the same, but I swapped a plain black tank for my faux leather one, skipped the mini bubble necklace in favor of my floral statement piece, and went with zebra instead of leopard print. Clearly I still needed some kind of animal.
I ended up really liking this outfit. In fact, I think I like it more than the original. Too bad the pictures turned out horribly. .
Except this one.
Which was taken by a random dude on my apartment building’s roof. He saw me with the tripod and the remote and offered to help. He had a bunch of his own camera equipment out so I said, sure, why not. Too bad he didn’t understand when I said I wanted a full body shot. And no camera could help that it was the end of the day and most of my make-up had worn off.
Just keeping it real over here, folks.
