Hello there, Friday! Hello there, schizophrenic weather! Hello there, post-run ponytail!

I actually took these photos on my way to my Thursday evening class and had every intent of showing you how the outfit looked with the cardigan on, but it was way too hot outside. And considering I went for a run at lunch and it took me forever to stop sweating (even after taking a cool shower!) I was not about to make myself hot again.

Thankfully, the cardigan came in handy once I was in class since it’s A. in a computer lab and B. I sit directly underneath a vent. AKA it’s FREEZING in there.

By the way, I’m not getting a third college degree. I’m just taking classes for fun. Unfortunately, this class isn’t going over exactly what I wanted to learn (CSS, by the way) but I have learned a few WordPress tweaks and am in the middle of building a site for the Wurst Running Club Ever for my final project.

I lead an exciting life, don’t I?

That’s too bad about your class! If you are looking for more info on CSS, I would recommend code academy, HTML and CSS by Jon duckett (great book) and using jsbin to play around. is helpful, but I’m more of a read it, do it learner, so I really would recommend the book.

Thanks for the ideas! My prof suggested HTML Dog, too, but I haven’t had the chance to explore much. She seemed surprised when I said I had no idea about anything CSS but, hey, there was no CSS pre-req for the class!

I love everything about this outfit, especially the shoes & necklace! I’m going to be on the hunt for a necklace even more similar to this one. Happy Friday!

It was SO hot yesterday! I thought I was just being a whiny Debbie Downer when I became instantly grumpy upon stepping outside, but when I checked my phone it said it was 90 degrees! Considering that I was dressed more for 65 or 70, I think my crankiness was justified 😛

I also somewhat second what Lindsay said. I don’t know if Code Academy and are put out by the same people, but I’ve been using Codecademy to (very, very, VERY slowly) try to teach myself HTML and CSS. It’s a really useful site and I definitely recommend it. Plus it’s free!

I’ll have to check that out! I’ve also heard good things about it from other people.

I admittedly LOVE warm weather when I’m dressed appropriately (and am not training for a race) but I was so unprepared it was ridiculous.
