How to wear a windowpane blouse

Cardigan – Nordstrom Rack (similar) | Top – The Limited (similar) | Pants – The Limited | Shoes – Bandolino (same) | Necklace – Gordman’s (similar) | Bracelet – House of Gemmes (similar)

Some days you just want to go with a simple black and white outfit, am I right? Days when you need something simple. Days when you want to wear some of your comfiest items. The key is to make sure those items are a nice mixture of textures and patterns so you don’t look like a rumbled newspaper. You know, black and white and tread all over?

I crack myself up.

Anyway! Today we’re having a lunchtime staff meeting in our conference room which is always cold. Hence the cardigan. We’re also trying a new-to-us restaurant: Naansense. Hilariously, I ordered the lamb naanwich…which is also basically what I’m making for dinner tonight. It will be the battle of the lamb sandwiches! I’m pretty sure who is going to win, though.

I totally just threw a clip in it at the last minute! I probably can’t recreate it more than few times before my hair just gives up and does it’s own thing again 🙂

Sometimes I think “oh, I’m just wearing black and white. How boring.” But there’s totally a reason it stays in style. Classic and elegant is right!

Love the outfit. Interesting and polished. This has inspired me to mix my tweed pants with a black/white print top.
