Jacket – J. Crew via ebay (similar) | Top – Express (same) | Pants – LOFT | Shoes – DSW (similar; same in other colors)

Hello and welcome to another week of work! Are you excited? Be honest. I’m planning to look on the bright side this week even if the rainy and cold weather means I still have to wear a coat and rain boots. At least I got to wear my new top from Express and pair it with this jacket. Normally I wear this jacket with black so it was fun to try something new. Unfortunately the rainy weather means indoor photos for now.

Hilarious to think that on Saturday it was in the 70s in my hometown. And that I was doing this:

Illinois half marathon 2014

Yep, that’s me running the Illinois Half Marathon. I’ll be writing about it over at my fitness blog if you’re interested in knowing more. Let’s just say I had a good time.

I love this whole look on you… great colors for this weirdo transition/rainy weather we’ve got right now! I really like that blue top on you too–it’s a color that you can wear year-round I think.

Congrats on the half marathon… what a fun pic!!

Admittedly (and I’m really not trying to humble-brag) sometimes I forget that running that kind of distance is still quite a feat. This was my 14th half marathon 🙂

That’s truly inspiring! I feel bad that I had no idea you were a runner! I really don’t know how you find time to work, manage multiple blogs, and run! Please send me tbag energy!!

I don’t really talk that much about the running because I don’t want to be one of those annoying runners who feels the need to tell everyone about it 🙂

I suppose I devote most of my time to this blog and my fitness blog is more of a true hobby.
