Awhile ago I got some requests for more casual outfits. Well, to be honest, I am one of those people who tends to wear mostly workout clothes on weekends or, if I’m feeling spunky, I’ll put on jeans, a tank top, and a cardigan. Nothing too crazy.

But, today is a holiday for me and I took this casual outfit a few weeks ago before we left for vacation so I thought I’d share it with you. It’s too casual for my office but it’s perfect for a day I’m not at work.

So, here you go. A casual outfit!

Or, if you’re really just here for the work-appropriate stuff, head over to Basic Training – Corporate Style where I’m being interviewed about my job and my work-wear.

My casual outfits are very often jeans, tank and cardigan. In fact, I could recreate this outfit down to the cute metallic boat shoes!

But it’s not too casual for meeeeeeeee! Hooray for outfits I could totally see myself wearing to work! Is that cardigan navy? I think it goes quite nicely with the green, and I like how you buttoned it as well. I get all flustered when I try to decide how to button my cardigans, so I generally just don’t. Some of them don’t hold up their shape very well unbuttoned, though (this is what I get for buying cheap cardigans at Old Navy), so I think I need to do some button experimenting.

Enjoy your day off! I’m definitely at work today, but since my Jewish coworkers could justify leaving early on Monday for Passover, I can CERTAINLY justify leaving early today for my only religious holiday that isn’t a day when the office is already closed (Christmas and Easter).
