The Bow Dress is Back

Office Appropriate Outfits - Spring

Dress – Comfort Me Boutique | Cardigan – Target via clothing swap (similar) | Necklace – Groopdealz (similar) | Shoes – Bandolino (same)

Look! The bow dress is back! I’m wearing it to a meeting today with my professional organization on the 63rd floor of the Sears (it will always be the Sears to me) Tower. Which means I kept it simple today with a black and gold palette. My husband said I looked very fancy.

Oh, you know what else is back? These heels. See, I was walking home from work one day last week when the heel of the right one got caught in a sidewalk crack and was ripped all to hell. Thankfully I’ve found a Shoe Hospital by my work and they were able to recover the heel in the exact same material. You can’t even tell! Well, until I catch it in another sidewalk crack.

I got so many compliments on this dress from random strangers while I was standing outside an elevator bank waiting to direct people! I think that’s how you know it’s a winner.

I would have cried if he hadn’t been able to fix them. I mean, I could still buy them (and they’re not even that expensive) but there’s no guarantee another pair even of the same brand and style would fit the way these do!

This dress is so pretty! I think it’d be cute for a date night or even a wedding or something – very versatile.

When I bought it Alyssa at Comfort Me told me that she had another customer who bought the same dress to wear to her rehearsal dinner! I thought that was just too perfect.
