It’s been awhile since the floral skirt made an appearance! The last time was in October. I had visions of wearing it while standing in the snow but it didn’t happen this winter. I mean, we had plenty of snow, but the skirt just never made an appearance. Of course, just because it’s April doesn’t mean it couldn’t still happen.

I totally just jinxed us and we’ll be having a snow storm next week, right?

Anyway, so far I’ve stuck with wearing this skirt with blue, black, and white but this skirt has so many other fun colors in it. I’m thinking that as soon as it warms up a bit more I’ll be pairing it with my pink sleeveless blouse. Although, looking at that old post, wearing it with the pink blouse and the navy cardigan might not be a bad idea!

By the way, you know how you know when vacation is officially over? When you go to a 6:00 AM class at CrossTown Fitness and get your butt handed to you. Well, actually, my butt is fine. My shoulders on the other hand? Ouchie. I love it, though.

Yay florals and bright colors! Although looking at that sunny day makes today’s weather even more depressing.

And I don’t know how you do those 6am classes!

Sigh. I know. This photo reminds me that we had spring. For a second. Come back, spring!

If you’d asked me a year ago if I could get up and workout at 6AM (a high intensity strength training and interval class, no less) I would have told you that you were crazy. But, turns out it’s not that bad.

When I put this post up and realize it did NOT look like this at all outside I thought, hmm, I wonder if people will care (I took the photos on Sunday). I guess, though, it’s nice to see something bright and cheery on such a gross day.

HA! I think there might still be some gross dirty snow in the parking lot across the street from us. At least there was on Sunday. Maybe the rain washed it away.
