Favorite Outfit of February

Office Appropriate Outfits - Winter

One of the most interesting things about taking pictures of what you wear every day is that you can compare from year to year and see if the winter really is a horrible as it seems. Well, from what I can tell you based on what I was wearing and where I was taking pictures this time last year, there was still snow on the ground at the end of February but I was taking a lot more photos outside. This tells me that while it may have been snowy, it wasn’t as cold!

Overall, though, February was a pretty grueling month weather-wise. Still, I managed to do a blog collaboration with Valerie, celebrate my blog’s anniversary, attend three fun events with members of the Windy City Blogger Collective, ride as part of team Braking Bad at the Cycle for Survival event, celebrate my husband’s birthday, finalize the hotel and plane tickets for our spring break trip to Puerto Rico, have some drinks with friends, and place second in my age group at a 5K race.

Oh, and wear my favorite outfit of the month.

Tan sweater with winter white pants, polka dots, leopard print and pearls

I have a feeling this outfit is going to be a crowd favorite as well. I just love the neutral color palate paired with the fun touches of the necklace, the leopard print shoes and the metallic polka dots in the blouse. In fact, I’m looking forward to wearing this outfit again so if it stays chilly for a bit longer I won’t mind. Okay, I will mind but at least it helps with layering!

Now, it’s your turn to tell me if the outfit above is your favorite or if it’s something else from this past month. Vote in the poll below! Remember, you can click on any of the images to go to the original outfit post.

I love when I vote and I see results that are totally on par with what I think 🙂

And yea… I’ve refused to look back at last year’s outfits. I wore dresses in December. And single layers. Over winter.

I was reading back through my posts from March 2013 and it looks like we got a snow storm that first week then, too. So, clearly we’re not out of the woods. Sadly.

Wellll…my post today is White Jeans are for Winners. I’m going to extend that to White PANTS are for Winners and then you probably know which outfit I voted for in the poll. 🙂 I rarely think to put these all neutral looks together but I love the look so much!

Looks like it is almost unanimous!! I did really like the grey turtleneck with the camel skirt also…I think the cuts were flattering, and that color combination is current and unexpected.

    xo,

That was really fun! Nice option to add the voting to this! I was with the majority – I love that outfit! I need to do neutrals and leopard. And I have the same necklace from Express – isn’t it the best!?
Thank you so much for always linking up with manic monday! It’s awesome to see our “regulars.”

One of my friends suggested I start doing this about a year ago so I’ve been asking people to vote since early last year. It’s so fun to see what everyone thinks.

It’s really interesting seeing what people voted for! (I voted for the blue blazer) It is kind of like Sophie’s choice though…I like them all!
