First, don’t forget to vote for your favorite outfit of January!

This weekend I spent a lot of time tromping around in the snow. So I figured it was only appropriate that today’s Style Imitating Art painting chosen by Jen is “Snowy Owl”.

However, I don’t own anything owl print so I went with a black and silver zebra print sweater with my black and white striped blouse. Pair that with cream pants and I feel just like one of those owls!

This is probably another one of those outfits that will make a lot of you go “oh, I could never wear white pants in winter! They’d just get too dirty!” And I say to you, that’s why the universe invented dry cleaners. And snow boots. Is it ironic that we worry about keeping our snowy whites out of the snow?

And in case you need more winter white inspiration, here are three other ways I’ve worn these pants in the winter.

Fibi & Clo just sent me that necklace too! There is another item we can remix hehehe! Love the different textures with the necklace- gives me great ideas on how to style it! And well done interpreting that inspiration photo!

Gorgeous outfit! Love the sparkles in the sweater and the necklace, and love the contrast of black and white stripes in the shirt underneath.

And when I wear white pants in the winter, I don’t wear them during the commute to/from the office. I’m definitely too scared of them getting splashed with that ugly brown slush! Instead, I put the white pants in my bag and then change into them when I get to the office!
