Two Pieces, Two Ways- Day 2

For Day Two of the Two Pieces, Two Ways remix, Valerie and I are showing you how to wear this snakeskin print top two different ways. Valerie went with a great casual look with a pink accent scarf while I stayed true to my office style but kept the overall look neutral.

Amazingly, I’ve never thought to pair this top with a pair of jeans and my brown riding boots! Adding that to the list of outfits to try for sure. Be sure to visit The Style Files for Valerie’s thoughts on our outfits!

As for my outfit, I almost felt like some kind of office safari guide! Something about all the browns and khakis paired with this belt, I guess. Thoughts?

I really love the the belt with that outfit! Any idea where your gifter got those bangles that stay on your tiny wrists? I could use some!

After seeing these posts I’m thinking I need to put a snakeskin print blouse on my shopping list! You guys have worn them so beautiful but this is one of my very favorite of your outfits. I love the “safari” look! Oliva Palomaro-whateverhername is wore a very similar look a while back with a snakeskin blouse and khaki skirt bit finished it off with some unfortunate fushia-neon platforms. I so prefer your classic take and I have to say that your lipstick is stunning! The darker shade is really striking on you.

Thanks, Katie! Don’t you wonder about people’s shoe choices sometimes?

And I’m trying so hard to remember to wear lipstick more often. I think it can really add a little extra something to a look.
