I love today’s inspiration photo from Two Birds Inspiration Monday. A striped shirt under a tweed or boucle jacket, distressed jeans, a scarf tied to her purse.

Unfortunately, our cool spell seems to be ending so I skipped the fun jacket and went for a boring cardigan. However, this inspiration photo made me think about wearing my gray pencil skirt instead of black one which I normally would have gravitated towards with this shirt.
So, I mean, my outfit is pretty typical office wear. A pencil skirt, a shirt, and a cardigan. Nothing groundbreaking. But I’d like to think the gray skirt gives it a little bit more visual interest than a plain black and white one! You know, shades of gray and all that.
Such a great look and work ready too!
I really like the way you made it work for work. LOL
My favorite thing to do is take a casual look and interpret it into an office-appropriate outfit!
Sharp and professional. Love the monochromatic look, and with the gray, it just sets the whole thing to the next level! And the black sweater just pulls the whole thing together. My fav so far this August!
Thanks, Dee!
I really like this work interpretation of the inspiration photo! 🙂
