Today’s random thoughts brought to by the fact that I am not a morning person and couldn’t think of anything to say while writing this post.

Random fact #1 – I stood in front of my closet for what seemed like forever before coming up with this outfit. I even put on a pair of pants I hadn’t worn in awhile but then quickly decided that I would be adding those to my Poshmark closet ASAP. It wasn’t until I had this outfit on and was taking pictures that I realized I had pinned almost the exact same outfit from Audrey at Putting Me Together. I didn’t set out to recreate a pin today. It just happened.

Random Fact #2 – Since I either take my pictures on the weekends or before work I have a limited number of places that I can get to quickly. One of them is this courtyard between my apartment building and the one next door. The downside? It’s where everyone walks their dogs so it always smells a tiny bit like dog urine. This morning the smell was especially strong.

Random Fact #3 – I guess I’m still stuck in my navy rut. Oh well.

I just got new navy ankle pants — which will hit my blog tomorrow — which I have been practically living in since I got them a week ago. I <3 navy. It's such a great neutral. But why oh why is it so hard to find good navy shoes? (I say, looking at envy at your lovely ankle-strap navy heels.)

I love tops with ties like that! I used to have one that was a short sleeved heather gray … but I think I wore it too much and it wore out 😉

LOL! Too bad that is not YOUR dog’s urine you are smelling!

Agree with Kim, having your own dog to stink up the courtyard would be so much better 🙂

I’m still in my blue rut, so you’re at least in good company! Once you find something that works, it’s hard to stop! And I’ve always loved pink and navy together.

I’m beginning to think that it’s just all the clothes I’ve bought recently are navy. And that’s why that’s all I’m wearing. Although, I just took 9 pairs of pants to the dry cleaner this AM so maybe that will help!

I HATE those mornings! It’s like I have plenty to wear, why can’t I figure out what to wear? (Not a morning person as well.) The navy rut is bad though, you come up with so many great color pairing that I didn’t even notice until you said something.

I’m amused by the dog urine smell story, though I imagine it makes for a poor picture-taking experience.

I love navy, so I don’t mind the navy rut. 😉
