Welcome to another work week! So far nothing has made me blush today but you know what would make me smile? If you voted for your favorite outfit from July! And even though I’m not personally blushing, I am wearing blush today as inspired by today’s Inspiration Monday photo.

I received this top from a Stitch Fix order last year and it might be one of my favorite things I’ve gotten from them. Unfortunately, the last time I washed it some of the stitching on the neckline came unraveled and I don’t know how to fix it. I’m hoping it’s not too noticeable, though, because I don’t want to have to relegate this shirt to the “wish I could wear” pile.

Also, I have a white blazer I almost wore today, but decided at the last minute that it wasn’t a blazer kind of day. That’s the benefit to having solid colored cardigans and solid colored blazers. You can swap them out when you want to change your look or, in my case, feel a bit more comfortable.

And speaking of comfortable, I bought my first pair of Vince Camuto shoes this weekend at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago! I’ll be doing a review of this new mall later this week, as well. Stay tuned!

WONDERFUL outfit!! I used to have a pink/blush top, similar to yours, it was my favorite, it worked so well with so many different combinations. And feminine, as well. Yes, I did vote. LOL

I mean, I can’t comment on this and let the coincidence of your Stitch Fix blouse being in need of fixed stitching go by without pointing it out. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I love all that neckline detail! It’s a nice substitute for the statement necklace in the original outfit.

What a lovely blush color on you! I really like this combo.

I can’t wait to hear about the VC shoes, I have been wanting to try them.

    Have a great work week!

This combo of cute top, cardigan and pencil skirt may be my favorite go-to outfit. I know it’s really simple, but you can also do so much with it!

I love the detailing on your top! Have you checked with a tailor to see if they can repair it?

They’d have to be able to match the color EXACTLY for it not to look worse than it is without any thread in that particular spot. I don’t know a good enough tailor. Do you know one? I’d definitely take it to someone if I could trust them with it!

Four out of seven days of my life I have to spend in work clothes so it just makes more sense to me to focus on how I can make that work for me! It’s pretty fun, actually.
