Only one more day left to vote for me as an expert deal finder! Even if you’ve already voted you can do so again until midnight on July 23rd! I would love to win the $100 gift card and show you how to find the best deals at The Limited.

Now, on to our regularly scheduled programming…

Funny thing, I actually wore this white skirt last Monday! And, yes, I managed not to get anything (major) on it while wearing it so here it is again. I stood in my closet for a bit this morning trying to figure out what white top to wear with it, though. Why white? Because today’s Inspiration Monday has Olivia Palermo wearing a crisp white outfit with some major statement jewelry.

Then I remembered this top that I don’t think I’ve ever actually worn to work. It actually goes perfectly with this skirt and after adding the camisole (got to keep it appropriate for the office) I decided to amp it up with some teal and red accessories (jewelry and shoes) to echo Olivia’s crazy statement necklace.

So, what do you think? Would you wear all white or are you too terrified of getting food on it? I admit, I took the photos AFTER I drank my morning tea so you can imagine that I was a bit terrified that I would get something on me.  But, success! Still crisp in my white on white outfit.

White clothes in general make me all sorts of nervous, but white bottoms in particular are terrifying. The seem to be just asking for trouble in the form of spilling things, sitting in things, etc. Lots of danger, obviously. All of that white does make for a very nice summery look, though, so as long as you have the coordination and/or confidence in your coordination to pull it off, I say go for it. In the mean time, I’ll continue wearing my oh-so forgiving black shorts 😛

I’ve been contemplating purchasing a white skirt of pants but haven’t pulled the trigger yet (I also haven’t really looked for them actively). I don’t think I’d be comfortable in all white though but who knows. I’d probably add a belt or cardigan with a pop of color.

What a relief that the top is at least from a Limited brand 😉 I was surprised to see non-Limited!

I really like the white on white! And isn’t red and aqua a fun color combo? I do like wearing white – it makes me look a little less pale in the summer. I wore a white dress out this weekend, but to get BBQ and pizza, so maybe not my best sartorial choice 🙂

Soooooo cute and summery! I love the more toned-down, office-appropriate way you went with this inspiration look. (And yes, still coveting those red flats. It’s a good thing you’re a smaller size than me. It would be too tempting if we were able to exchange/borrow/steal clothes from each other!)

I was all, “Aww, I don’t have a white dress”. Sad face. Then I thought, duh, white shirt and white skirt. And I almost wore my nude heeled sandals but the red flats just called out to me.

For some reason, I like white tops, but bottoms freak me out!

Are you calling the button up top a cami? I guess I never thought of them like that!

I love this look! I see many folks wearing all-black outfits that they accessorize with pops of color or shine, so why not do the same with an all-white outfit? Although, I do have terrible luck when it comes to wearing white. I have a pair of white capris that I love, and go figure that I spilled mustard on them the very first day that I wore them. =(

I love this outfit! The top looks corsetted and fitted.

I don’t care how silly it looks; when I’m eating out I tuck a napkin into the top of my blouse and let it hang down to protect my clothing. It would look far worse if I chose to eat without one and left the establishment with stains down the front ot me!

Corsetted! That’s a great way to describe this top. It is almost because it buttons all the way up the front and has seaming that almost mirrors the boning a corset would have.
