This morning was one of those days when I tried on two different outfits before settling on this one. I mean, a leopard print top and black pants?? Whoa. Don’t get too funky on me, right? Seriously, though, as part of AJ’s Friday Favorites Remix I looked back at the other ways I’ve worn this top and I’ve never actually paired it with a simple pair of black pants.

Crazy, huh? Especially considering that leopard and black are a super easy combination. Perfect for a Friday when you don’t want to wear jeans (meetings and, well, it’s warm outside) but just need something simple yet sophisticated.

And, really, what is more simple and sophisticated than leopard and black?

Reminder! I’m over on Chippmunk talking about the great deals I get from The Limited and I would love it if you voted for me! Not only is it awesome blog exposure for me but there’s chance I could win a $100 gift card. And you know I’d pick The Limited and show you how to get the most for $100! Just click on the “Love it” button.

I think my favorite is when I wear it with the camel colored blazer. Maybe the one with the jeans? It’s so simple but the print on the top really takes it up a notch. Although, I also love it with the cream colored pants (not the stark white ones, the ones in the left-hand column).

You’ve gotten some legitimate use out of that leopard top. I have a couple that I tend to wear so boringly (black skirt, dark denim) so I need to break out of my shell and try some of your ideas!

I absolutely love your leopard blouse – it’s so perfect for layering, but it looks great on its own as well. Have a great weekend!
