Apologies for the indoor pictures. You can’t even tell that my skirt is navy! But it’s just too cold and windy out today to stand outside. Seriously, I almost got blown over while walking from the train. Ridiculous. I am totally underdressed.

However, I’ve decided I LOVE this outfit. The tweed jacket is black, blue, white, gold, and silver so it goes with SO MUCH. So far I’ve worn it with black jeans and regular blue jeans but pairing it with the skirt makes me love it even more.  Nothing is classier to me than tweed and a pencil skirt. Now, if the weather would just go back to normal so that I’m not freezing to death in this outfit, I’ll wear it all the time.

Can you believe it was just 80-something degrees a few days ago?

That is a really great jacket! White looks so crisp with it, but I imagine you can play with a lot of colors too. Also, your hair looks extra curly or something here – it’s cute!

Crazy about the weather. It has been quite hot and humid here (DC) the past few days. The thought of wearing a tweed jacket right now makes me sweat! It’s supposed to cool down for the weekend but not be cold.

Our highs for the next few days aren’t supposed to get above 70! That’s okay for Saturday but Sunday I’m doing a 30 mile bike ride and I’d rather not freeze to death!

I absolutely love this jacket! Sounds like it has been incredibly versatile…I love it with the navy skirt too! I definitely was not prepared for this crazy temperature drop we got either!!

Ah, this is the ebay jacket! I love how it looks paired with a pencil skirt, it makes for such a sleek and lady-like silhouette. (I suppose it’s silly, but I really like how the trim on one side is black, it’s striking and adds a little edge to such a pretty jacket.)

Yikes, good luck with that wind! We’ve been getting it in spurts up here which kind of makes it a bummer for wearing skirts. (Maybe I just need to be smarter and wear pencil skirts rather than flippy ones.)
