Actually, I have no idea if blue is the color of hope or not. All I know is that I hope that today it actually gets as warm in Chicago as they claim that it will or I will be wearing my denim jacket all day even if I don’t want to. Why is that? Because ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants. I’ve been waiting patiently but now I’m tired of waiting. I’m wearing it!

Yes, it’s sleeveless. So the temps better reach the 80s like Tom Skilling says it’s going to! Or more parts of me than just my clothing will be blue!

Do you get impatient to wear new items?

That top is adorable! And the blue pants go perfectly! I’m actually wearing a tie top that I got from a blog giveaway…love it! Tie tops are nice because they already are accessorized i.e. don’t necessarily need a necklace or scarf or anything because it’s already got something going on! 🙂 Hoping Tom is right about this weather!

That was my original intention but I wasn’t a fan of the bottoms I wore it with so wasn’t a fan of the outfit in particular…go figure I get photographed by a news reporter that day- UGH!

I bet you will get your warm temps today! 🙂

I get impatient and usually wear new things the next day… unless I forget about them, like I did with that black dress I got at EB last year!

I love your all blue ensemble! That top is really cute! It’s already 60 out, so hopefully it gets as warm today as they’re saying it will. I want warm weather to stay already!

I get most impatient to wear new stuff this time of year, because some of it has such a limited window of time to be worn (like shorts). And I bought all new summer stuff for Hawaii that I’ve really been wanting to wear again!

This is very true! Today I’m wearing a dress that I bought 2 months ago, and it’s only the second wearing because it’s warm-weather.

Love love LOVE this outfit! That shirt is so perfect with the pants and shoes.

I wish I had gone to school to be a weatherperson. I’m pretty sure it’s the only job you can be wrong like, 75% of the time and still have a job.

As someone who considers herself to be an expert on all things hope, I can assure you that blue is most definitely the color of hope, particularly when paired with orange. Or, at least, it is the color of Hope 😉

I get very antsy to wear new things when I buy them. I guess most of the time I buy clothes that are in season, so it’s not a huge issue, but I bought a lot of dresses in March that I haven’t been able to wear yet, and I’m getting REALLY anxious to finally put them on!

I wonder if there is a study out there about why colleges and universities like to choose orange and blue as their colors. My grad school was also orange and blue 🙂

Ooooh, now we get to see the whole top! I really, really like this one, the two-toned and the pattern with the bow makes this so special looking, it’s really a statement item. (And how funny, I do the same thing, I buy items because I can see them pairing so nicely with clothes in my closet.) I hope it was warm for you, 80 sounds lovely!
