Green with Envy

Fluoxetine and abilify

First, I need to get a shout-out to Katie for inspiring me to put together my camel blazer with my green pants. She wore it first and wore it well, I must say. My outfit is basically a blatant copy but, hey, that’s the sincerest form of flattery, right? Or is that just what we tell ourselves when we’re feeling uninspired? Anyway, I loved the color pairing so much that I wanted to wear it, too.

I also used my own trick of adding an ankle bracelet between the clasps of my necklace to make it longer. Such a great way to get more use out of a necklace. And, yes, I’m one again pairing leopard print with brightly colored pants. I don’t know why I love to combine the two, but it always looks great to my eye. Especially when paired with neutrals on top.

I LOVE this necklace! I’ve been looking for feathered earrings for a while but I now I think I want earrings and a necklace…

Yay! Haven’t seen that necklace in awhile. Or have I? Nice to see you using it, since I remember our fun shopping trip when you got it!

I really like this pairing! Could you do this with other colored pants, too?

I haven’t worn it in awhile. That’s the problem when you have so many necklaces 🙂

I’ve worn this blazer with my blue pants and I have plans to wear it with my red pants. So, yes, I think tan or camel colored blazers can go with just about any colored bottom.

Another Pantone color! And one that’s actually a color this time haha. Right? I think? Maybe? I like to pretend I’m in the know and on trend when it comes to fashion. Emphasis on the “pretend.” I do like what you’ve done with color here, though. It’s a nice change from the usual color on top neutral on bottom you tend to see.

You look fabulous!!! What a clever idea to add an anklet to a necklace to make it longer, too! I think you mentioned it to me before but I forgot about it until now. The green and camel combination look AMAZING.

Thank you! I wish I could take credit for the color pairing but it’s all inspired by another blogger. I will take credit for the ankle bracelet extender idea, though 🙂

I think I was inspired by you in the first place to pair bright pants with leopard print! I think you pulled this look of way better, I love the fit of your blazer and that necklace is so perfect. (What a freaking great idea! I was grumbling today about breaking one of my longer chains and using a ankle bracelet is a perfect fix!) But thank you for the sweet shout out, that was too kind.

Isn’t it great how we all get ideas from one another and then get to see how they play out with the items we have in our closets? Totally one of my favorite things about blogging.
