Full disclosure: this photo of me in a bright pink blazer on a sunny day was taken on Sunday. Because today? It’s raining. Again. Also, it is almost May and I’m still wearing hosiery. There is something really wrong with this.

Actually, you can be honest, there might be more wrong with this outfit than the fact that I still have to wear hose. For some reason (I think it’s because I’m currently “enjoying’” being a woman if you catch my drift) none of my clothes feel right this week. Probably a mistake to wear pencil skirts right now, huh? Ladies, can you commiserate?

And now that you’ve gotten way more information about me than you wanted you can go back to your regularly scheduled Tuesday. I’ll be over here tugging down my skirt and trying to figure out if I should unbutton my blazer or not. Thoughts?

You are too funny! I tend to wear dresses (jersey knit=the best) and skirts when that time comes– anything with give and stretch and flexibility is reeeeal nice! But when it’s still cold out and hosiery is a must, it kinda defeats the purpose wa waaaa!

Ugh, I feel your pain. Like Valerie, I tend to go with dresses when I’m (not) enjoying womanhood. Though that’s tricky when it’s still cold enough for tights/hose. Why hasn’t someone made office appropriate sweatpants yet?

I like the blazer buttoned, and am loving all the pink this week!

Office appropriate sweat pants would be the best. Do you remember when those stretchy flared leg black pants were in style in the early 2000s? Maybe those would cut it…

I think you look great. It is sad about the tights issue though. I have been wearing pants this week because I refuse to put tights on again this season!

This is one of those weeks when I wish jeans and a sweatshirt were acceptable at my office. I mean, my sweatshirt has sequins on it. That makes it dressy, right?

    Hi Erin!
Even though it still seems like winter, I love the springy outfit with the pink blazer. Button or unbutton? I say unbutton, it will give your body a more fluid line, with no “stop” signs, as it does when your blazer is buttoned.
We need warmth and sunshine here, on the East Coast as well. OY!

I would like to see it unbuttoned! 🙂 Ooo, that sounds dirty.

    Sorry. I’m hyper.

I love skirts and dresses during that time! Not tight ones though. Icky.

I don’t mind the rain. Shh. I am so weird. The sun’s weirding me out. Ahh, what is wrong with me?! And why am I writing it here and not seeing a shrink?!

The weather changes so much this time of year – Spring is lovely because it brings sunshine and warmth, but so frustrating because it doesn’t bring it regularly yet! Oh, how I’m so ready for summer. I love the bright pink even for the transition seasons, though – helps it FEEL like spring even if the weather isn’t cooperating. Super cute look 🙂

Whenever “that time” comes, I’m in dresses and my comfiest pants. I feel you, for sure. I totally love your blazer, by the way. I really like how they make an outfit look professional AND fun!! 🙂

Ugh, one of those delightful days. 😛 Those days really are only good for stretchy pants or dresses that touch no part of your skin. What a bummer about the weather through, it seems like this winter just wants to drag on and on. We better get an AWESOME summer out of this.
