Apologies for the incredibly boring background.  I suppose it just adds to the gray theme I’ve got going on.  I had every intention of taking photos outside but I just couldn’t bring myself to strip off my coat and gloves and deal with the tripod since it’s currently below freezing out there.

I know, I know, Katie at An Alaskan Weredork is laughing at me right now.  I’m just not as hardcore as she is.  Yet.  Maybe in a few weeks!

This outfit is essentially the same as this one but with a gray sweater instead of a red one.  Okay, I also swapped out the jewelry and the shoes for other items to go with the shades of gray theme.  So, which one do you prefer? Red and gray or shades of gray?

I used to dislike gray (grey? maybe I disliked it because I don’t understand the spelling) but recently I’ve started to really like it! I like the shades of gray!

I like the gray look…very sleek and classic! And I am smitten with your bracelet. Gorgeous! Usually I don’t do bracelets because they are chunky and clank against my desk/keyboard at work but this bracelet seems like it would be very quiet in comparison 🙂

I feel the exact same way about bracelets. Which is why I think leather wrap bracelets are the solution. They don’t bang against the keyboard and can be adjusted to fit almost every size wrist!

Ha ha ha! I love the title – is it a joke about the book at all? Or is that just me?

I am not sure if I remember seeing the Anjolee earrings on you! I really like them! Ooo, I don’t think I told you about the beautiful necklace Steven gave me for the holiday! Let me know if you want to see a pic of that too 😉

I liked both outfits! But something about the gray is calling to me today 🙂

I love different shades of gray together, it gives off such and effortless, quite sophistication with a little bit of romantic at the same time. I think my favorite thing about this is how you wore your silver and gray flower necklace over your turtleneck, it makes the necklace just glow with the slightly darker gray behind it! And the pairing of the really feminine necklace with the wrap leather bracelets give the whole outfit a little bit of a cool edge.

No way I’m laughing! You have to deal with wind chill there and that is miserable! I’d rather have it -40 with no wind than 20 with windchill. (I suppose I just really hate wind. There’s nothing good about it and no matter how many jacket I put on, it always gets to me.) Maybe we’ll all get lucky and have an early spring. 🙂

This necklace and turtleneck together are definitely one of my favorite pairings for the reasons you mention.

So, you guys don’t get windchill? I wonder what that would be like!
