Sweater – Old Navy | Jeans – AG Goldschmeid via Bloomingdale’s | Belt – Target | Boots – DSW | Bracelets – Joe Fresh (gift) | Scarf – Street Vendor in New York City

Let’s see.  My boss is out today.  My only meeting is with IT people who dress casual every day anyway.  I’m leaving work at noon to get ready for a girl’s weekend at the ZOOMA Half Marathon.

Weekend casual at work?  You bet.

I’ve also been playing around with ways to keep wearing my white jeans this fall.  Pairing them with a sweater, scarf and boots keeps them from looking too much like spring or summer.  The more wear you can get out of an item the better investment it is.  No sense in hiding something away in your closet for half the year if you can make it work for multiple season!

Plus, it’s totally cool these days to wear white after Labor Day.

So, the next time you have the opportunity break a few rules!

Do you ever read the RedEye? This morning their feature article was about fall fashion, and they were all, “You can SO wear white after Labor Day” AND they were all, “oxblood is totally in this season, so you should wear it.” You’re so on top of things!

Guess I scooped the Red Eye! I see it all the time but I don’t read it since I get motion sick if I read on the train.

Oh wow, I love this! (I feel like I’ve been saying this a lot lately….) This is just a fantastic look though, the leopard scarf with the white jeans and the riding boots is lovely, but I love how you used a classic black turtleneck to pull the whole look together. That coat! Wow, you are making me want a red one so bad, it’s going to look gorgeous when the snow hits.

The black turtleneck is pretty classic, huh?

My red coat is technically a rain coat but I love it so much I try to wear it as long as possible. Hopefully I get some photos of it in the snow!

What a fun way to take your white jeans into fall! The red coat and printed scarf really add some vibrance to the whole look. :)

I LOVE this look!!! And I think that white jeans can be worn year round – you just have to pair them with the right things, like you did here! Hope you had a great girls weekend!

Did you notice my new coworker was wearing white pants when I pointed her out to you on Wed? She is so fab. She said she shops online a lot… blue something…? Have you heard of that?
