White and Stormy

Have you entered to win a shopping spree plus two fun tote bags yet? If not, do it now!
Top – Old Navy | Pants – The Limited | Shoes – SE Boutique via DSW | Necklace – NY & Co
Good – I managed to take outdoor outfit pics before it started raining
Bad – It started raining as soon as I got off the train. And guess who didn’t wear rain boots?
Good – I ducked into the post office to ship my latest Because I Shop Too Much sale and missed the biggest part of the downpour.
Bad – My shoes (and pant cuffs) still got soaked.
Good – I always have a spare pair of shoes in my office. And leopard goes with everything.
Also good? My guest post on Librarian for Life Style! Jen is super sweet so I’m thrilled to be kicking off her vacation week with a collage of Chicago looks.
Now I’m off to make the rest of my Monday have more checks in the good column!

Cat prints can be worn to the office when you keep them simple and sophisticated. Here are six options.
This week is Bike to Work Week in Chicago and since I only live 1.5 miles from my office I do occasionally bike there.
The great thing about a denim or jean jacket is that you can find one at literally every price point.
Sometimes you see an outfit on someone and you think, “That works, but I don’t know why.”
Head over to the other Chicago Erin at Color Me Styled and read my guest post on what I’m planning to pack for vacation next week!

Love the leopard shoes!
And it always rains when I wear white. ALWAYS.
So….did you wear white today, too?
I have on a white sweater, I gave up on the white pants & skirts years ago. It’s just not worth it. And I come to work early so was here way before the storms hit.
Those leopard print shoes are MORE than just good, my friend! love. them.
Thanks! Leopard is totally a staple in my book.
Love that photo!
I think I’m going to try and take as many pics on my rooftop as possible. Although they probably won’t all have such cool storm clouds in them
Hi this is Dawn from Suitcase Vignettes, popped over from Jen’s blog. Congrats on guest posting. Your leopard heels are really gorg. I will be guest posting on the 31st. Drop in anytime, nice to meet you. dawn xo
Eww, I always hate getting my feet wet in sandels, it’s such a weird feeling. (But kudos to clever you, keeping a spare pair of shoes at the office! And yes, leopard does go with everything.^_^) I love this necklace, the style is a little funky, but the blue in it is stunning.
When you commute by train and walking you always keep a spare pair of shoes around. Currently there are four pairs under my desk and another three pairs in a drawer
