It was a close race, but in the end most of you told me you wanted to see the brown and gold look!
Gold sequins and spaghetti straps are probably a little tough to pull off for work but a gold shimmery shell? Not as difficult. No sleeveless allowed in your office? Throw a cardigan or a blazer over the top and you’re good to go.

I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying. 
Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.
Ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants.

I really like that top. It looks comfortable. I cannot remember which outfit I voted for last week but I like this one!
The top is quite comfy but it’s REALLY long. I basically have to tuck it in when I wear it with dress pants. Haven’t tried it with slimmer cut pants, yet.

I really like the gold and brown!! Those pants look amazing on you – like they were made for you!! Were they tailored?? I have such a hard time with work pants – I don’t know if it’s the material or what but they never sit properly on me, even when I get them tailored. I’m jealous!!
Nope, not tailored. All my work pants are the same: the Drew cut from The Limited. They’re the only ones I’ve ever found that fit me straight off the rack.
This is such a fantastic work look, I love browns and grays to start off with, but the little texture and shine of the gold top throws something special into the mix. And with that leopard cardi there? I bet those look killer together!
