This is not the outfit I originally wanted to wear today. Nope. I had something a little different in mind when I went to bed last night. But when I put that outfit on this morning I just wasn’t feeling it. So, this is what I ended up with.
And while I’ve worn these red pants with leopard print accessories I was surprised to realize I haven’t worn it with this particular leopard cardigan. Funny how that happens, isn’t it?

Nothing is classier to me than tweed and a pencil skirt.
A reader recently contacted me and asked for help with a pair of ankle boots she just bought.
Right now I’m pretty happy with my closet. But even so there are days when I stand there and stare at all the hangers and think, “I wish I had….”
I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying.

I have this happen all the time, where I want to wear one thing in the morning and by morning it just doesn’t seem as cute.
Red and leopard are always perfect together, I like the drappy-ness of the black top.
I admit I’m never sure if I should wear a necklace with a draped-neck top like this or not. What do you think?
Cute look! I usually don’t wear necklaces with draped-neck or cowl necklines, unless the necklace is shorter and follows the line of the scoop or drape. I usually go for statement earrings, like you did here!

I’m going to agree with Jen on this too, I love the draping on necklines like this and think they work all on their own.

I would have never thought to pair the leopard with the red pants but it works really well with the black top!
For some reason red and leopard always go together in my head. Which is why I was surprised I hadn’t paired these two together before now.
