You Pick Wednesday–Denim & Lace

It’s You Pick Wednesday again and this week you chose the denim and lace look!
I admit, this outfit may be a tad bit too casual for the office but I’m able to pull it off because A. it’s summer B. I don’t have any meetings and C. my bosses are out of the office.
Still, for those of you who can’t wear sleeveless to the office, throwing a blouse over the top and tying it at the waist is a nice alternative to a cardigan.
And my bracelet? I’ve been craving a wrap bracelet since they came on the scene earlier this year. Kristin Hassan was having a sale at the end of July so I snatched up two of these babies. Although, to be honest, they’re not that expensive at regular price for the quality!
Finally, while I work on a reader request post, I had so much fun seeing what you guys voted on, that we’re doing it again for next Wednesday!

For those of you looking for casual outfit inspiration, this one’s for you! 
Nothing is classier to me than tweed and a pencil skirt.
A reader recently contacted me and asked for help with a pair of ankle boots she just bought.
Right now I’m pretty happy with my closet. But even so there are days when I stand there and stare at all the hangers and think, “I wish I had….”
I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying. 
This dress is so pretty!!! I’m loving all the lace that’s popular right now. And wrap bracelets/watches – my sister in law just got me a wrap watch and I love it!! This one is a great color. Good tip on the blouse over the dress – definitely makes sleeveless office appropriate!

Yay, shirts tied over dresses, one of my favorite tricks! You look great, and very summer-office-y. I have also been eyeing the wrap watch bracelets over at ModCloth…

One of the great things about this pairing is the contrast in texture– denim seems so rough& tumble, lace so delicate and feminine. It’s the perfect balance for most gals on a regular day. May be two pieces I need to add more of in to my closet!

This is such a cute look! Love the leopard shoes too. This look is a great mixture of girly/feminine with the lace and a little roughed up with the denim.

I love denim and lace together, it gives lace such a modern twist and I love that you threw in a pop of leopard print with the shoes! I think this is my all-time favorite of your outfits, it’s so lovely and fun! (Ooooh, this would be super cute with sandels, there’s so may ways you could dress up or dress down the lace.)
