Day in the City

Top – Old Navy | Belt – The Limited | Skirt – Nordstrom Rack | Shoes – Nine West | Cardigan – Nordstrom Rack | Necklace – NY & Co

On the plus side, it allowed me to get these photos! Taken with my iPhone, no less.
Of course, it’s pretty difficult to get a bad photo when you have such a gorgeous day.

Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.
Ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants.
Today I’m going to share with you one of my favorite ways to this lace dress that I’ve come up with yet.

From the first pic it looks like that skirt is kind of fuzzy/stringy… is it textured? Or am I going blind?
Nope, not textured. Although, I can see why you think that. I guess the lighting is just making it look extra fancy
