I admit it, I’m a sucker for store displays. When I saw these pants in the Gap paired with this cardigan I knew I wanted them both. The blouse I waited on for awhile and finally bought it on sale.
As much as I love to shop, I really dislike “the hunt” and I tend to be bummed when I don’t buy something that catches my eye right away and then find out they’ve run out of my size when I go back later. So when I find pieces together in the store that I like I usually end up buying them on the spot.
And speaking of spots, I’ve got a cadre of polka dots on display over at My Name is Jacy! Jacy blogs about her life, her love for her readers, and how even if where your life takes you isn’t where you thought it would go you can learn a lot about yourself and the compassion of others.

I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying. 
Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.
Ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants. 
I like store displays for ideas too! Sometimes I take a photo to see if I can create something similar in my own closet.
