Blazer – Dots | Top – Banana Republic Outlet | Necklace – Macy’s (Gift) | Jeans – Adriano Goldschmied via Bloomingdale’s | Shoes – Bandolino via Bergner’s
I FINALLY found white jeans and even thought it was a Monday I decided to sneak them into my work outfit anyway. Hey, my boss was out and I didn’t have any meetings so why not?
This outfit was inspired by Jessica at Bows and Sequins although I don’t have much in the way of bright, funky jewelry. Most of my jewelry is pretty “traditional” I guess you could say.

Do you prefer big, bold, colorful jewelry or simpler baubles?
The other reason I wanted to wear this outfit was so I could participate in Simply Sarah’s Pink Link Up! Lots of fun pink ideas there, so check it out.

I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying.
Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.
Ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants.

My first choice is usually a pendant. One of my goals for the summer, now that Nicolle is older (and less likely to pull on my jewelry), is to experiment with different necklace styles.
I always feel a little ostentatious when I wear anything “big” so, like you, I normally stick to smaller pendants that don’t hang down very far. I’m trying, though!
I really really like that look! It’s so fresh! I would try it… if I had white jeans
I have a few bold and colorful pieces. Do you need some?
Practically all my jewelry is silver or black or some combination of the two. I’ve got to start branching out!
These colors are so great together – I love black and white with a pop of color.
Thanks! I find that I wear this blazer with black and white a lot but it really does add something!
