As I was sitting in a meeting this morning I looked around and realized everyone in the room was wearing black, brown, or some other neutral color. The most exciting it got was the green sweater one of the people leading the meeting had on.
Color can be so fun and it doesn’t have to be over the top. Take this look, for example. Black and white paired with a pop of pink. Isn’t that more fun than just another plain black and white outfit?
Of course, neutrals have their place, too. Neutrals can look very sophisticated. But for those days when you can have a little fun? Why not punch it up a notch?

Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.
Ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants.
Today I’m going to share with you one of my favorite ways to this lace dress that I’ve come up with yet.

I really love pink with b&w. And color in general!
I think I was channeling you this AM. Didn’t you have on a similar outfit last Wednesday?
Absolutely agree! I also like your silver necklace and earrings with this look.
Thanks! I mostly only own silver jewelry
