This post is a bit late but I was saving it for a “rainy day”. Where rain = moving! New apartment here I come!
I did some major shopping in April but, admittedly, the two Limited pieces were gotten for a song when I exchanged the blazer I bought in March. In fact, I ended up with a credit of $1.00!
Also, many of the Dots purchases were c/o the $50 gift card provided at their Spring & Summer Style Party.
Overall, I added some fun new pieces to my wardrobe without breaking the bank.
Shopping goals for May? Find some white jeans!

Nothing is classier to me than tweed and a pencil skirt.
A reader recently contacted me and asked for help with a pair of ankle boots she just bought.
Right now I’m pretty happy with my closet. But even so there are days when I stand there and stare at all the hangers and think, “I wish I had….”
I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying.
Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.

Did you take those white jeans back to Dots?
You got so many cute things! Have you worn the new shoes yet? Maybe you have! I am really far behind on your blog!
I did end up returning the jeans. I debated long and hard about it, though. I think I’ll hit up Macy’s soon and try on every white pair in the store
I have worn the new shoes a few times. Most recently the Nine West ones here and the Old Navy ones in the pink/red post.
