I have an unusual work week this week. Some days I can be pretty casual (today) and others I have to be pretty dressed up. I took advantage of my ability to be more casual today and tried out a combo I’ve been wanting to wear for awhile: red and pink.
My husband told me this morning that I was very “bright”. Perfect for a sunny, warm day don’t you think?
Red and pink together. Yay or nay?

Here are my takes on four different ways you can make your maxi skirt work for the office.
Cat prints can be worn to the office when you keep them simple and sophisticated. Here are six options.
This week is Bike to Work Week in Chicago and since I only live 1.5 miles from my office I do occasionally bike there.
The great thing about a denim or jean jacket is that you can find one at literally every price point.
Sometimes you see an outfit on someone and you think, “That works, but I don’t know why.”

I would never think to combine pink & red (and I probably wouldn’t go for it myself just because of how pink looks on me) but I think it looks great! I’m really digging the touch of leopard print in the belt. It really brings it all together!
The leopard does break up the two bright colors a bit. Maybe I should have worn my leopard shoes, too!
Yes to the leopard shoes!!
I definitely admire the brightness, but i like it better with the jacket, I think the jacket helps give the eye some contrast & relief.
I agree that the jacket definitely adds something to the outfit.
I like to mix colors like this. In a recent industry interview I had, the Vice President of Trend Merchandising and Fashion Direction at Belk called it “color clashing.” (but in a good way!) I love the look, Erin! Wear it proud.

I’m totally in since my outfit parallels that pink and red dress in your link. I actually really like that dress.
Ahh! I can’t decide! I know it’s in style now, but it’s so hard to decide if I like it! I really like how bright it is!
It’s defintely an acquired taste.
