Stripes and polka dots? Black and navy? What am I thinking?
I’m thinking that ever since I picked up this dress off The Limited’s clearance rack (seriously, I got it for like $25 with a coupon) I’ve been wanting to wear it with this blazer. Even though one is black and one is navy. Something about the scale of the stripes and the scale of the polka dots was just calling to be paired together.
I also thought about wearing this dress with my white blazer, my black blazer or even my cobalt blue blazer. But I just kept coming back to the stripes. So, here we are. What do you think?
Also, today is the last day to vote for which piece you want to see styled three different ways! So far the green pants are winning so if you feel strongly about leopard or pink gingham you’d better cast your vote quickly.

Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.
Ever since I bought this tie-neck top I have been wanting to pair it with these pants.
Today I’m going to share with you one of my favorite ways to this lace dress that I’ve come up with yet.

I wasn’t sure how i felt about the stripes and polka dots together but the more I see it the more i love it!
Yeah, sometimes things have to grow on you! That’s why sometimes I find myself searching for a trend after it’s already passed.
I like it! I think the polka dots are small enough that the stripes don’t clash with them.
Exactly! Pairing a smaller pattern with a larger pattern keeps it from looking too crazy.
