Today is AMAZING outside. I had to escape my office for lunch. Thankfully working in the Chicago Loop area affords me many lovely places to hang out on my lunch break. Like the Chicago Art Institute.
I was telling Kim a few weeks ago that I was hesitant to wear these pants because it was too cold. And today it’s almost too warm for them! Craziness. I’m loving this weather, though. I may have to purchase a few more pairs of fun, colorful cropped pants so I can take advantage of it to its fullest extent.

Right now I’m pretty happy with my closet. But even so there are days when I stand there and stare at all the hangers and think, “I wish I had….”
I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying.
Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.
The fact that I paired two pieces that could be considered slightly casual but added heels and a blazer makes my outfit work appropriate without being traditional.

I am beyond obsessed with my red skinnies. So practical aren’t they? Great lion pic too!!!

Can you believe I almost didn’t buy them?? I want to wear them all the time now!
I love the blue and white polka dots, teamed with bright red. It’s very 1950′s and nautical. You look really cute

Thanks! There is something very 1950s about this outfit, isn’t there?
I think you should get yellow cropped pants. I was just in the building across the stree from mine and this lady was rocking a yellow and gray top… now that is a fun color combo, right?
I wonder how long this weather will last!!!
I’m kind of craving kelly green ones! If only I can find some that aren’t jeans.
