Look! It’s warm enough outside to go bare-legged. Actually, it was raining this morning and for some reason I prefer to wear skirts when it’s raining.
I debated back and forth this morning over belt or no belt. Obviously I went with belt. Still not sure it was the right decision but sometimes you’ve just got to make up your mind and own it!

Nothing is classier to me than tweed and a pencil skirt.
A reader recently contacted me and asked for help with a pair of ankle boots she just bought.
Right now I’m pretty happy with my closet. But even so there are days when I stand there and stare at all the hangers and think, “I wish I had….”
I’ve had all of these clothing pieces in my closet for a long time. I keep wavering on whether or not to keep the cardigan and then it keeps staying.
Pairing the fancy sequined skirt with a neutral colored cardigan and nude heels helps keep it from being too bling-y or overwhelming.

Skirts when it’s raining is logical. Maybe I have worse trouble than most being only 4’10 but I hate when it’s raining and the hemline of my pants gets wet. Yuck.
I’m loving the purple skirt. All the colorful skirts out right now are fabulous.
I think it looks more polished with the belt! It’s funny though – I am looking at this so late that I cannot imagine wearing something that “heavy” today!
