Sick Day
Yesterday afternoon I felt like I was getting sick.  I tried to ignore it.  However, last night I finally broke out the thermometer to discover my temperature was hovering between 99 and 100.  My husband convinced me to stay home from work today.  My fever finally broke after massive doses of Dayquil and sleeping until 2:00 pm.
So, to spare you photos of me in my own lounge clothes, here’s some ideas about what I prefer to wear around the house when I’m just going to be laying on the couch watching bad television.
What do you like to wear when you’re not feeling 100%?

My mom’s floral robe. I’ve kept it all these years, and it still feels like a big hug.

For some reason I have to put on “real” clothes even if all I’m going to do is clean the house. I just don’t feel like I can be productive if I’m still in pjs or sweats!

Why do even your lounge clothes look put together?

Sweats and a tshirt for me. But not old school sweats with the cinches in bottoms. The newer thinner ones with wider legs and a wide band at the waist. Like those ones I bought when we were at Under Armour a few years ago.

I’ve been wearing a lot of L &XL t-shirts and pajama pants the last months, but I’m with you in that I have to wear “real” clothes to feel productive. I’ll put on cords & a Henley to study, but once I’m done, more likely than not its back to pajamas 🙂
